Course Description

In general, this course provides maintenance technicians with a thorough understanding of the electrical systems on a locomotive. The major objectives of this course are to describe the various electrical systems and their components, explain how to use the Schematic, explain how to use the SDIS screens to access data and perform pertinent functions, and to explain how the various electrical systems interact with each other and the mechanical systems.
